My Job Description
Hello students, parents and fellow members of the Shasta community,
My job is always to accelerate and empower the learning of every student everyday. I do my job as a learner, achiever, analyst, and mentor to students. I embody the perseverance and knowledge in the universal language of math and the skills to communicate. I explore with, and inspire students. My community needs me to do my job.
Please select from my 3 former courses to get main information about each class.
MATH is ... infinite: used every day, endlessly applied in progress, skills and careers.
Can you see the relationship in the picture of the Shasta mountains (above) and the math function (below)?
A math degree in this modern day era and millennium is arguably the degree which will open the most doors to employment and career opportunities. A degree in mathematics is unlike any other (see article).
So keep calm, and math on. Math will assist you into accomplishing your life goals and dreams, no matter what they are.
Sincerely, Mr. A. Sanchez

There’s scientific evidence that the neural connections grow and become stronger, the more you struggle with learning and correct your mistakes. Based on research by Stanford Professor Carol Dweck and her colleagues, we know that students with a growth mindset - the belief that intelligence is not just something that you are born with - have higher levels of success than those with a fixed mindset.
